So i have to admit, i’ve been looking forward to shoot another birthday since Mia’s party last year with equal excitement and dread.
This time around, Nadia hosted an awesome Lego birthday party to his boy Irfan Adam.
Last year we had a blast at Irfan’s party by the poolside, however this year the parents decided to have it indoor.
With the ever cool organizer, the turbocharged kids, the great food .. the fun is undeniable.
The kids were astonishingly excited, running everywhere and utterly engaged with the Legos, bubbles and colorings (read: mia).

This past weekend, we had the pleasure to co-hosting a surprise baby shower for Leen.
It was only a small gathering, attended by close friends.
The shower took place in The Banquet BV2.
Since the place was tiny and space is quite limited, we (read: the ladies) kept the decorations to a minimum with a pink and white color scheme.
The decorations were all done by the ladies. It worked out perfectly (up skit!)

Mia turned 3 y.o last September.
We’ve been waiting to do a ‘proper’ birthday celebration for her, even before her lil bro is born.
September was Ramadhan, thus we delayed it until 2 weeks ago.
I guess she had a great time with her friends (and ours too).
Even now, she keep singing birthday song to herself.
Coming next year, she’ll be sharing her party with her lil bro (the Septembers).

Few weeks back, we were invited to Irfan’s 3rd birthday nearby our Pantai Hillpark. But NO, i wasn’t the OP for the day, i was more interested to test out my newly purchased (that time) Tamron 28-300mm. The result wasn’t that bad at all. The VC works tremendously. The focusing was pretty neat. However, as much i want to test the lens to the fullest, i gave up upon the luscious food served.
