Finally, mommy bought Mia the Crayola and also few pieces of kertas mahjong to avoid her from spoiling our beloved green & blue walls. Myself, as a former ‘drawer a.k.a painter’ (true la, i drew well during my school days, tadika days also – won few competitions) is also keen to try this magic ink. At first, she seems really enjoying her conteng² session on the mahjong paper as i guide her to draw a cat, human face etc. Thinking Mia would be fine with her Crayola, i left her alone and continue with my late night routine (photo editing/design). Few minutes after, she came to me and to my surprise, her face/hand has been tarnished and she seems enjoying every bits of it. She even tried to conteng my hand & feet but luckily the ink is washable so no harm done. But nevermind la Mia, Picasso dulu pun camtu jugak ..

* pardon her hair, it was her bad hair day!

Now she knows ..

April 18th, 2008

A lil background, since Mia was barely 1yr old, she was taught to put her bottle cap on, right after finishing her dose of milk and another one, she was told to ’salam’ and kiss me on the cheek before she go to sleep.

Earlier tonite, as i was watching Trek Selebriti (ya yaa .. i know i’m just bored) and Mia had her milk while watching her Purple Dino dvd. After a while, suddenly she woke up and rushed to the kitchen and to my surprise, she was carrying her bottle attached with the cap and passed the bottle to the mommy. Waaaa .. normally i’ll have to ask her .. “mia put the cap back bla bla bla, pass to mommy bla bla bla” but this time she did it on her own.

To add more to my excitement, as i was doing my late nite routine (edit-design-mengantuk), mommy asked her to get into the room to sleep. As mommy got into the room, Mia came to me and hulur tangan nak salam. Again, waaaaa .. i’m impressed, normally the mommy would asked her to do so, but this time she did that on her own. Maybe for some ppl it’s nothing but for me it means lots of things.

Ok la Mia, confirm laa weekend ni dedi blanja tricycle!

This is Ayra

April 15th, 2008

It’s been nearly 5 months (i think), Mia got to know Ayra and once in a while, the parents had them to play together. Again, it was the mommy who initiated everything – via blog of course, while the daddy is cam-biasalah terpaksa ikut. Since then, the parents become friends.

Ayra today is no longer the same Ayra i know months ago. Lately, she’s been losing lots of her sponges (baby fat = healthy fat) which makes me in a way ‘disappointed’ as i’m always looking forward to picit² her ;). Similar to Yazid’s case, Mia can easily recognized Ayra whenever we showed her Ayra’s pics and this time it’s “aghaaaaaa”.

Equipped with a newly bought 50mm f/1.4, these pics are all taken during the same Chilis visit as per Yazid’s pics.
