It’s been a while since my last update on Mia’s antics. For the past 2.5 years (minus the pregnancy), both me n wife been experiencing all sort of ups and downs in upbringing Mia. We had no maid(by choice), both side of parents are away as they’re living outside KL and it was quite a challenge, but we survived! Mia demam panas at 2-3am .. tengah² malam kena bawak PMC/DSH .. kena admitted ..I had to leave a wedding assignment sbb Mia muntah² so terus rushed back home .. 2-3 hours of sleep daily …dan macam² lagi. But that was during her babyhood, her toddlerhood are so much fun!

Coming this September (Insyallah) .. Mia will be get a baby brother. We’ve been getting ready mentally and physically(?) to go through another similar cycle, however probably with extra challenge this time round as the big sister would also need our attention as well.

So, how does Mia react so far? She can been extra clingy at times, but mostly she’s one happy toddler, very bubbly . Her favorite is her masak² set, baby doll and books. She loves ice cream as well. Gladly, she’s willing to brush her teeth everytime she got bath.

Upon reaching home, the first thing she’ll grab is her senduk & pan then she’ll start her masak² and serve us with all sorts of ‘food’. At time, she will persistently asked us to remain seated next to her, to pretend eating her food and drink her juices.

Mia just love to consume her medicine, so we never really have trouble in that area.

Our next plan is to get her ready to sleep independently as to give way for her lil brother which we’ve actually tried several times before but none succeeded. We tried buying (bribe!) Barney bedsheet, Barney comforter, extra pillows, teddy bear, all sort of tactics but yet, she still climb up our bed and most of the time conquering 50% of the bed. Let alone her sleeping position (kaki kat kepala, my badan jadi bantal, sorok kepala bawah bantal etc). Perhaps, it’s time to get her a new set of bed, tapi yang lama apa nak buat .. ehmmmm

Some folks advise not to become one’s bridesmaid as it will jeopardize our jodoh i.e jodoh lambat. Ironically, Alia was Farah’s bridesmaid only in last February and within few months, Alia and Hazwan decided to tie their knot, thus she proves them wrong :P. The engagement took place at Alia’s home in Kg.Tunku PJ and was attended by Alia’s close friends whom most of them are familiar faces i’ve met during Farah’s wedding. They made the event more joyful.

A week ago, we went for a short vacation in our local famous Langkawi as we were actually looking for a beach holiday. Why Langkawi? why not Bali? or Krabi? or Phuket again. Because we both haven’ been there for ages. My last trip was 7 years back, but it was a working trip, i had to do some modem installation and didn’t have much time to explore the island. Besides, baby coming out soon so ‘Zoom Malaysia’ ajelahhh. So was it good? Ehmm, i’d say i’ll visit them again but not in the nearest time. Click links below for more pics.

I first met Hazz during Lana’s wedding, as she was her pengapit back in 2007. The engagement took place in Bandar Puteri Klang, a place i’ve never been to before. Thankfully, my Garmin works tremendously and finding the location was hassle free for me. I’d like to congratulate Hazz & Fahmi for their incoming wedding day. Happy preparing!
